Marloes, Deer Park

Fog until late afternoon somewhat hindered birding but numbers seemed down on what Brian reported yesterday. Nevertheless there were a dozen or so Willow Warblers and 2 Chiffchaffs on the bushes outside the hide at Marloes Mere with a further 3 Willow Warblers and just 3 Wheatears along towards the Deer Park.
On the Deer park itself a couple of Wheatears and 8 Willow Warblers. A male Merlin hacked past close. On the field next to the Martins Haven car park there were 6 White and 2 Pied Wags late afternoon, joined this evening by 5 Ringed Plover.
