Pencarnan Patch

A stroll around the patch during a grey morning delivered a shining light above St Justinian LBS.

                                                                  Pied Flycatcher

Also seen, following a couple of days of delayed migration due to cold, strong, artic continental winds, several loose flocks of moving Wheatears, including  10 Treleddyn Farm and 7 Point St John.

Dozens and dozens of willow/chiffs - WW predominating; the headlands were dripping with them.

5 Blackcaps Pencarnan Farm, and a Sparrowhawk at the LBT - coastal sightings at this time of the year of this species are always an indicator of movement. And there was today.
