A fantastic day for birds today. Dave Astins birdwatching group helped to notch up some great totals. Highlights include a ring tail Hen Harrier, Black Redstart, 2 male Common redstarts, 25 Wheatear (including several Greenland birds), 2 male Ring Ouzels, 32 Blackcap, 35 Chiffchaff, 65 Willow Warbler, 1 Goldcrest and a Pied Flycatcher. They also came up with a male Little Ringed Plover yesterday. See the
