Around the Teifi

Like Mike, no real riches around the Teifi either. Wader numbers increased dramatically yesterday and we now have a very mobile flock around the estuary. When last reviewed at high tide this evening, 1 Sanderling, 50 Dunlin and 20 Ringed Plover. At least 15  Whimbrel are present, and 3 Common Sandpipers were at The Webley. 3 Sandwich Terns in the estuary this evening.
(several observers)

The marsh sounds like it is full of acros....and it is ! In a little over two hours this morning, 83 Sedge Warblers were caught in our small study area at Mallard Pond.
