Twenty Goosander from the River Viewpoint on the reserve was probably the best record of the day.
Four Snipe from Kingfisher Hide and a Greenshank over the marsh.
Waders around the estuary included Turnstone, Sanderling, c30 Ringed Plover and c50 Dunlin.
Only 64 Barnacle Geese - c70 have gone missing, likely to Newport. Sedge and Reed Warblers still in the reedbed.
