Dale

Carrying on the tradition of 'deserted but promising-looking Dale airfield photos'. Here's one from early this morning. Wasn't quite deserted 2 Ringed plover and a Dunlin on the cross-roads. Surely due a good bird!

Gann: Thought it might be deserted with schools gone back but no chance! Birdwise: 12 Dunlin, 6 Ringed plover, 4 Turnstone, 4 Bar-tailed godwit, 4 Teal, 2 Greenshank, 3 Little grebe and a Whimbrel. Chiffchaff here and on track to airfield.
