Castlemartin Corse

The Corse wetter than it's been, with more surface water - lots of snipe and even a few ducks. ♀ Marsh harrier (the one we've been seeing, I think) hunting the length of the reedbed, pouncing numerous times. She disappeared into the reeds for half an hour (had she caught something?), then reappeared and stood on the grass on the Kilpaison side for 5 minutes preening before resuming her hunt.

Lots of noise from water rails, Cetti's singing in usual area N of hide. A kestrel flew along the reedbed.
