Circuit of Marloes peninsula this morning. Female Kestrel and Merlin hunting over the mere, flushing 8 Snipe. Tufted duck in north irrigation pond. Golden plover flying over. YBW calling but not showing near Trehill farm. 2 Chiffchaff, Goldcrest and 3 Redwings. 23 Lapwing in field down to Martins Haven. c500 Starling. Martins Haven was deserted. Wooltack Point: 8 Wheatear and dozens of pipits kept me amused but nothing unusual. A Greylag flew across from mainland to Skomer.
Earlier in the week. Red kites over Honeyborough roundabout, Neyland and Stackpole on Thursday. And a Merlin on outskirts of Johnston.
