Pencarnan

Here at Pencarnan we opened our day count shortly after sunrise with a YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in the valley that runs down to Porthselau Beach. 2 REDWINGS also in the valley (2 on camp yesterday) along with 2 SONG THRUSHES. About this time 14 TEAL flew in off the sea, a GREY WAGTAIL walked the strandline, and late in the morning a single HOUSE MARTIN appeared off the sea at Point St John. 45 species all told, justified an all morning bash around our patch.
