Yes, Mike is certainly correct - there is not lot of ready access around the site where it was seen, which was just by the stepping stones. I muust apologise for not getting a sighting on the blog earlier - my dear wife and son saw the bird at 2-30. However, rather than calling me, they just casually slipped it into the conversation over a cup of tea at 5pm, while showing me the grainy image they had managed to get on the phone!! Suffice it to say that words were exchanged on the function of mobile phones for communicating valuable information rapidly, but all is tranquil again now...... Tomorrow is another day!!
