The Gann

Walking back along the edge of the tide towards the car park, I flushed a small Wader which flew off over the water back towards the rivermouth. Light was just about crepuscular & I lost it in the chop of the sea almost as soon as I got my bins on it, it`s call was a "squeak squeak" about the best I could describe it! Anyway I rang Brian & he`ll have a butchers in the morning - or anyone else if they feel the need to!
Just five Barwits, everything else gone - a few small groups (18 total)  of Swallows &1 House Martin heading ESE into the evening sky......
