Bittern and Masked wagtail update

From John Ramm - The bittern was displaying well in the Kingfisher hide and a male goldeneye was a delight to see close to the road bridge under clear blue skies. The previous day I had driven down to Camrose for the masked wagtail. Still 20 or 30 other enthusiasts looking out for this rarest of visitors. One fellow had driven down from Montrose, a second from Stevenage and another couple from Cornwall. I was there from 11.00. a.m. to about 2.00 p.m. but there was no confirmed sighting......But hope springs eternal.
