I noticed a flock of Starlings passing over Sutton in an Easterly direction, usually they head north to Dudwell, so, intrigued, I watched the trees at Dudwell for half an hour or more to see if any birds were heading there. I was surprised to see large flocks all apparently avoiding the trees and also heading east, so, has the roost been abandoned now? Anyone else see this?
