Cracking evening. As Derek said the American wigeon was among a flock of 48 Eurasians, frustratingly very jittery so couldn't get a really good look. After settling out in the bay they were startled by a boat and moved onto the marsh.
Also 16 Brent, 10 Great crested grebe and group of 3 Great Northern divers. 130 Oystercatchers, c50 curlew roosting on saltmarsh. Despite the flat calm could only pick out 2 adult Med gulls before the roost moved well offshore. Over at Dale 4 Little egret roosting in trees to the fort.
