Ring-billed gull - The Gann

A 2cy Ring-billed gull at the river mouth this evening (as predicted by Dave A a few days ago). Derek arrived just before what few gulls there were, headed off westward. No roost at Dale. Also 8 GC Grebe, 23 Brent, 21 Grey plover, 14 Turnstone, 5 Bar tailed godwit and single Dunlin. American wigeon at the top of the pools with 36 Eurasians.

Had a look at Stackpole earlier for Richards bittern. Exactly where Richard said it would be, sat high on-top of the swaying reeds. The Cetti's calling close by and a Firecrest on the other side of the spill way by the 'path closed' sign.
