Superb view of bittern in the reedbed below the Court Site terrace this morning - perched in full view on a bunch of bent-over reed stems. The zoom on my phone camera was not up to the job, but there was time to fetch NT head ranger Chris from his office to have a look. Cetti's singing strongly nearby - there's been one here for a couple of months.
