The Teifi

The Common Scoter are still the highlight in the bay with c20 birds today, also a Gannet close in this morning in the wind... The main Wigeon flock is now feeding on the grass fields opposite the Quay, where the Canada Geese often graze. Wigeon numbers appear to be stable and  around 250 but Teal numbers have dropped to well below 100.
Singles of Greenshank, Knot, and Grey Plover were all feeding off the Railings, and the c43 Dunlin and  9 Ringed Plover were moving around the Webley marsh.
32 Shelduck is a  new season high.
