Below Stackpole Court today, the Bittern was showing on and off, quite active in the reeds and best seen from the high terrace. Also, Cetti's Warbler and Chiffchaff singing.

that arm of the pools, down to Grassy Bridge, 5 redhead and 1 drake
Goosander, a female Goldeneye, two pairs of Tufted Duck, a pair of
Gadwall, a lone drake Wigeon and a Kingfisher.
