A pleasant (if a little cold) hour or so late afternoon with Skokholm Wardens Richard & Giselle. The
Ring-billed Gull was feeding on the far side of the bay at low tide. At least
10 Mediterranean Gulls,
20 Grey Plover,
6 Bar-tailed Godwits &
21 Brent Geese (all pale-bellied). A quick scan of the lagoon north of the car park revealed the
drake American Wigeon amongst the Wigeon flock, quite close to the road.
