Gulls at Fishguard - and other bits and pieces

An interesting selection of gulls in Fishguard today, the 1st winter Glaucous Gull was present in the harbour for most of the morning at least, an adult Yellow-legged Gull was in Lower Town Harbour in mid afternoon, where the 3rd winter 'Scandinavian' Herring Gull (L.a.argentatus) was also still present - last reported there in December '16'.  Also seen in the harbours was a Red-throated Diver,
adult Gannet and summer plumaged Guillemot.  Elsewhere, the Cattle Egret was still near the iron bridge in Newport this afternoon.
