A day at Stackpole Warren with Clive Hurford and Paul Culyer (we were doing some lichen monitoring) produced just a few migrants typical for the time of year - e.g. grasshopper warbler, wheatear and small numbers of hirundines passing through. A male cuckoo was calling for some time to the north of Stackpole at the end of the day. Hopefully it will stay around and breed somewhere in the local area.
