A milestone was reached today in counting Dartford Warblers in the County. 20! males or pairs. However there is still no news from some previous breeding sites in the north and west and there are new areas to explore (the more visits the better). It only adds to the fun of a healthy walk if you can target likely gorse-rich areas and it adds to our knowledge of these birds in the County which in turn helps to protect them.
