Newport (again)

Mid afternoon at the Iron Bridge 3 Common Sandpipers, 4 Barwits (2 in summer plumage), 8 Dunlin and 14 Whimbrel. One of the Whimbrel was colour ringed - green left, yellow right - be interesting to know where it came from.

Round at the beach car park there were 26 Whimbrel on the golf course and another 2 on the beach together with 2 Barwits.
