Whinchats - The Preselis

Paul G and I had a look around a couple of sites on the Preselis this morning (primarily with dragonflies in mind). We also checked out Brynberian Moor for Whinchats and managed to find a pair. One was seen carrying food items, so it looks like one of our scarcer breeding birds continues to do so. A couple of Red kites including one bird chasing a Kestrel over Waldo's Stone near Gors Fawr. The Kestrel managed to take cover in a hawthorn. And it was good to hear my first Willow tits of the year at Mynachlog-ddu common.
