Carew Saker

A dramatic addition to the Carew list today - a young male Saker was being flown at the Martletwy Show on Carew Airfield, only to be seen off by one of our local Peregrines (which hang out on the pylons). The lady from Pembrokeshire Falconry tracked it to nearby Carew Cheriton, and after a 2-hour chase was able to recover it with a lure. Hardly tickable, though.
