Brambling, black redstart (also present yesterday), red kite and merlin brightened up the day. Small movements of skylark, chaffinch and siskin plus a flock of around 500 wood pigeons heading purposefully towards Ireland. 3 firecrest present on 27th with at least 1 still around the following day
