Garden again

A little more on our Crundale garden birds: for the first time in many years we had siskins today, a male and two females who appear to prefer the sunflower hearts to peanuts. Siskin weren't all that common even when Crundale and the surrounding area had many more trees than we now have. I know they have a reputation for wandering in winter so perhaps there's been an influx into the County recently?
