An overwintering Chiffchaff, along with several Goldcrests, was busy feeding in the scrub and seaweed around the bench at the back of the beach at Monk Haven today. In the church carpark was yet another Firecrest, but there was nothing exotic in the churchyard or around the sewage treatment works.
