6 Little Egrets this morning. Together, so no double counting. By far my highest total here.
Yesterdays Med Gull, white 372A, turns out to be 3E71, which was reringed last summer. I've mentioned this bird before, She (for she is) was ringed as an adult in Belgium in June 2005 & since then has been reported 53 times by 22 different people. This is enough to map out her year. She spends March to July in the Antwerp area & breeds there. In Aug & Sept she is in Aberystwyth, from Oct to Jan in N Pembs (Newport or Fishguard) & in Feb in N France on the way back to Belgium.
