Trehill fields and The Gann

Pretty quiet on walk down to Martins Haven, flock of c100 Chaffinch with a dozen Reed bunting in stubble field near West Hook farm. c500 Lapwing, 3 Snipe and a Grey plover flying around. A stunning male Bullfinch brightened things up, a real peach of a bird against the grey landscape.
Over to the Gann, Derek had texted me about there being lots of gulls and he wasn't wrong. As the tide was very low and gulls were all along the waters edge I walked out on the foreshore on Dale side to get a closer view. Majority were BH gulls estimated around 1000 birds, 250 Common gull and 56 Med gulls (all adults except 3 2cy birds). 28 Brent and 90 Wigeon.
