Hooded Crow - Martin's Haven

Went for a walk from Martin's Haven to Marloes Mere & back this morning after the Skomer boat was cancelled.  Lots of Wheatears about, most looked big & chunky & warmly coloured below as you would expect Greenlands to be (the late passage is also typical of this subspecies). A nice surprise on the way back was a Hooded Crow with other corvids on the coastal fields not far from Martin's Haven, which then flew towards Trehill Farm.

Went back for a second look at the Green Heron this evening, smart bird and still decimating the newt population!
