Running the kite a close second was the performance of the Short-eared Owls - as well as some superb views including one carrying a Skomer Vole, the highlight was 4 birds simultaneously chasing a Red Kite out of North Valley. Magical stuff.

Black Kite - Skomer
A brilliant day on Skomer today was topped off by a Black Kite which circled over North Valley and slowly drifted off towards the mainland in a SE direction. managed to get all of my group onto it, as well as some of the staff, overnight guests & volunteers.
