Gann

In the lull between storms the 2 Slavonian Grebes were again in the bay, initially resting close to 2 Great-crested Grebes - a nice addition to the Crabhall list!  Also in the bay 4 Great Northern Divers.

Finally managed to locate a Common Gull with a colour-ring, and read it!  Presumably the bird I saw 7 days ago but couldn't read, this time the green ring revealed the white letters J6U7, and thanks to a combination of cr-birding.com & the excellent Norwegian colour-ringing website, I already know the bird was ringed as a pullus at the southern tip of Norway on 14/7/2016, seen 2 times soon after in southern Norway, and then today's sighting at the Gann.

Also today adult Mediterranean Gull 3AA0 & adult Black-headed Gull 2KNN, both previously recorded.
