Another look around a damp Dale with Derek. No sight or sound of yesterdays YBW, best bird was a Lesser Whitethroat in the same area. Between the heavy showers there were plenty of tits and goldcrests to give us something to look through. A Great Spotted woodpecker in the churchyard undergrowth briefly gave us hope of something rarer. Flock of 10 Siskins over head and a first Redwing.
UPDATE: the Yellow-browed warbler showed twice between 4 and 5pm.
