Highlights of a day spent largely birding included a Yellow-browed Warbler calling at St Bride's where there was also a smart Firecrest and 4 Crossbill flew over heading N/E.
Pretty quiet at Martin's Haven, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a few thrushes, and 2 Blackcap.
Nice to find a first-winter Ring Ouzel in the blackthorn growing on the cliff face between St Ann's Head & Mill Bay, keeping company with a handful of Blackbirds. (Dave & Lisa)
