Castlemartin Corse

The two marsh harriers were hunting over the reedbed together until after 1600. A Cetti's sang from willow scrub on the north side.

No sign of a quarter of a million starlings, though. We don't know how long they were using this roost before its discovery on 29 November....

Earlier, a merlin over the A477 near Milton, my second in this general area this winter.
