At the Gann last evening just 29 Brents (one dark belly) in the stream and Dave could see one with colour rings when they flew off and landed across the bay but too far to read. Also four Greenshank and around 20 Redshank, two Little Egret and c.16 Teal.
A report this morning from Alun Lewis at Llandshipping of an Osprey flying past just off the shoreline yesterday afternoon. They seem to turn up here every year but this is an early record.
Loads of chiffchaffs around yesterday too.
