At Angle Harbour this morning 22 Mediterranean Gulls roosting on the shingle spit with c.70 Black-headed Gulls and a dozen or so Herring Gulls. The majority of the Meds were adults but there were also 3 juvs and a few 1st and 2nd Summer birds. Most were sitting down so no rings seen. Also on the spit 1 Whimbrel.
At St Govan's 8 Chough including a pair with 2 young and also these 2 colour ringed birds which I have previously seen at Manorbier. They are siblings ringed as nestlings in South Ceredigion last year so have wandered quite some way.
