I was asked, by a local dog-walker, about a bird he'd seen yesterday and had never seen before. My heart sank as usual when someone says this but he then went on to give a perfect description of a Rosy Starling. Apparently it was near the Woodchat Field behind Whitesands bay. Unfortunately I couldn't see it this morning but clearly part of the ongoing invasion of this species.
