8:54 until 9:30 at least, the bird was still at roost in the trees, upstream from the iron bridge.

At 15:00 the bird was in the nearby field feeding with cattle, but then flew back to the river & preened amongst the Black-headed Gulls on the waters edge.
The little Egret is around the river/cattle too.
