We managed a short ringing session near Chevron this morning and recaught around 40 birds but only eight new ones. Near Popton a first winter Iceland Gull floating along beside the car was very nice and a little later a Little Egret in one of the tiny streams on the Commons in Pembroke- virtually in the middle of the town.
Not so many finches around the cattle near Kilpaison Burrows today.
