Sightings via e mail from Maggie Humphreys - I saw the entry querying whether the 200+ Canada geese were still on Llys y fran and am happy to confirm that they were still there this morning (I made it 225), together with the Black-necked Grebe, several Great Crested Grebe, Wigeon, 4 Teal and 4 male Goldeneye and I think 2 females. But no diver that I could see!
On the garden front in Henry's Moat, we have up to 3 Great spotted woodpeckers feeding daily at the feeders, up to a dozen great tits, a couple of coal tits and several blue tits and Chaffinches - but no Green Finches here this year either.
