Withybush gulls

Early afternoon : a few gulls were hanging around the tyre pile which included the 1st year Glaucous and the 2nd year Iceland. The rubbish tip was closed for the weekend which is probably the main counter attraction during the week. A large number of gulls were in the field by Poyston West farm but no clear viewing point was found from which to look through them. There were also literally thousands of Starlings there, which periodically perched along overhead wires before plunging down out of sight again.
