For the past 2 days we have had a ringtail hen harrier on the island with a blue tag on it's right wing (no number seen). Today visitors reported one with a yellow or orange tag.
Does anyone know where these birds might be coming from and is there anyone I can contact? Thanks.
Went offshore this afternoon but not much seen. Common gull at the hats and barrels with black headed gulls and juv kittiwakes.
