Dale / Gann

At the Gann late afternoon 27 Brents, including one colour ringed bird: red ring on right leg (I think!) and either a yellow or metal ring on the other leg - it was very distant and the light was poor. Hopefully someone will get to read it at high tide. A good number of gulls (mainly LBBGs and BHGs) pre-roost but again distant due to low tide.

Around the corner in Dale a minimum of 10 Med Gulls in the roost (8 ads, 2 1stWs) but probably more in the biggest roost I've seen here so far this winter, which was growing by the minute in the fading light. I also saw the 3 Great-crested Grebes, and eventually 4 Great Northern Divers thanks to Derek's tip-off.
