Much the same as Derek at the Gann late afternoon, all I can add is a single Great Northern Diver in the bay, and an adult Med Gull out in the roost (most of the birds very distant!).
Highlight of the day, and a fantastic way to end the year, was a large (presumably dog) Otter which trotted across the road at Mullock Bridge right in front of the car as we headed home at dusk! It lingered briefly by the roadside, disappeared under an old pallet next to the bridge, and then reappeared as it hopped over the bank and into the river, heading upstream. The first Otter encounter I've had on the Dale Peninsula in over 21 years of visiting! Magic.
