Goshawks at St Brides

Got to talk at length to one of the shooting syndicate who are feeding pheasants etc in the St Brides area. They confirmed that the pair of Goshawks I saw a month back are seen daily chasing the jackdaws and crows in this area. They seem to have been around in this area for several months according to the shooters.

They also reported an Osprey at Winsle pool SM832090 diving down to catch a fish and then spending most of the day perched on a telegraph pole - "about two weeks ago"

They have already put down 4 TONS of bird feed this winter and there are many wildbirds benefitting as well as the pheasants etc.

Amazing what we miss isn't it.
