Richard,I have seen several references to the black tailed Godwit off Newport bridge but not seen a photograph so here is one taken today (Monday). I saw no bar tailed Godwits today – just the usual gulls, one heron, one redshank and one little egret. The photograph of the redshank was taken, also today at the Creek hide, Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran. There was also 4 or 5 Snipe there among the 100+ Teal but I did not get a good photograph of them.
