Paddy's report of Starlings flighting SSE over Slebech is revealing as they used to pass over that area towards Dudwell/Plumstone during the heyday of the roost in the 1990's. It would appear that this vector is no longer part of the roost's catchment area. I've noticed they still flight towards Plumstone over Haverfordwest, between there and Dale and over the A40 at Letterston and Windy Hill. Do they still also come from the west and the north and do they still cross the western Milford Haven waterway to join the throng? Keep up the enlightening observations bloggers.
