A few days back I saw what looked like a "scruffy" Peregrine sitting in a tree above the lake at Rosemoor. The bird had the Peregrine mask, but this was indistinct and the forehead appeared pale. The colour was generally brownish with rather "scalloped" looking feathers on the wings.....Looked most like a Lanner Falcon and was pretty tame so a possible escape??
